Hi, I’m Laurel! I’m an illustrator, triplet and aspiring writer based in Norwich, England. I’m currently studying an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia.

I’m inspired by people and community (from working at my local public library), stories and folklore (from my lifelong love of books) and the natural world (I grew up between the quiet Suffolk countryside and wild Pembrokeshire coast). I’m passionate about comics as a medium, and aim to convey warmth, humour and magic in my sequential and illustration work.

Primarily, I work by hand in pencil or ink and colour digitally, often for riso printing.
